As part of a campus-wide administrative reorganization, Swarthmore College has moved their development, gift records and alumni relations staff into a classic 1960s office building, located just off campus. CVMNEXT was asked to undertake the complete renovation of these 13,000 square feet on two floors into contemporary new offices.

The client and user groups wished to create a modern, open and collaborative work environment. Responding to this challenge, CVMNEXT has worked with the architect and engineers to develop an innovative approach focused on the careful removal of extraneous building elements and finishes, creating a light-filled environment that is versatile enough to accommodate the various functions of the department. The project also includes new mechanical systems.
