Swarthmore College, Lang Performing Arts Center
Urgent repairs were required to reposition an unstable, eighty-ton movable concrete acoustics-altering wall used to separate a large auditorium into two independent spaces. The ability to move the wall vertically allowed the college to create acoustically-unique spaces depending on the type of performance scheduled. This project included the installation of two new one-hundred-ton maximum capacity safety jacks at each end of the wall.
